Membership Policy

SowGrow Atlanta B2B Marketing Council Membership Policy
 

1. Purpose

The SowGrow B2B Marketing Council (“Council”) exists to provide marketers (“Members” / “Member”) with a trusted network of peers for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and business development opportunities.
 

2. Eligibility

To qualify for membership, Member must:

  • Be a senior-level executive or business owner.

  • Provide marketing-related services to mid-market companies.

  • Be based in the Atlanta metro area.

  • Commit to attending a monthly in-person, two-hour meeting for the duration of membership.

 

All Members are subject to review and approval. Membership is limited to qualified marketing experts.
 

3. Membership Term & Fees

  • Membership is offered as a 6-month term.

  • The current membership fee is $274 for six months. 

  • Fees must be paid in full at the time of enrollment.
     

4. Membership Benefits

Members receive:

  • Participation in monthly in-person Council meetings.

  • Inclusion on the Marketing Council digital one-sheet and Council webpage featuring combined service offerings.

  • Participation in the B2B Marketing Audit Service.

  • A “SowGrow Marketing Council Member” digital badge for use on websites and social profiles.

  • Priority opportunities to be featured as an Expert at SowGrow Marketing Council public meetings and podcast.
     

5. Member Responsibilities

Members are expected to:

  • Attend scheduled meetings regularly.

  • Actively contribute expertise, insights, and referrals to fellow members.

  • Uphold professional standards and represent the Council positively.

  • Respect confidentiality of discussions within the group.
     

6. Refunds & Transfers

  • If a Member does not meet eligibility requirements, membership fees will be refunded in full.

  • Once approved, membership fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
     

7. Code of Conduct

All Members agree to:

  • Maintain a collaborative, respectful, and professional environment.

  • Avoid solicitation or aggressive sales tactics within the group.

  • Support the Council’s mission of collective growth and shared expertise.
     

8. Termination of Membership

Membership may be revoked if a Member::

  • Fails to meet attendance requirements.

  • Engages in unprofessional or unethical conduct.

  • Violates the Code of Conduct.
     

Decisions regarding termination will be made at the discretion of the Council Leadership.
 

9. Collaboration & Joint Service Delivery

One of the unique benefits of Council membership is the opportunity to work together as a collective team of marketing experts. Members agree to:
 

  • Collaborative Opportunities

    • Explore ways to combine expertise with fellow members to deliver integrated marketing solutions for mid-market clients.

    • Participate in joint pitches, proposals, or service packages when appropriate.
       

  • Referrals & Introductions

    • Actively refer business opportunities to other members when client needs extend beyond one’s own specialty.

    • Make introductions in good faith, with the understanding that all members are vetted professionals.
       

  • Shared Service Offerings

    • Contribute to the Council’s combined service one-sheet and webpage, which presents members as a unified “B2B Marketing Dream Team.”

    • When delivering services together, Members agree to maintain high professional standards, clear communication, and respect for each other’s client relationships.
       

  • Ethics & Transparency

    • Members must disclose any potential conflicts of interest when collaborating.

    • Any financial arrangements, revenue sharing, or subcontracting agreements between members should be clearly disclosed to Council Leadership.

    • The Council itself does not assume liability for joint projects outside of the Council joint service delivery; responsibility rests with the Members engaged in the collaboration.
       

10. B2B Marketing Audit Service

The B2B Marketing Audit Service is a signature offering of the Council, designed to showcase the collective expertise of its members and provide value to mid-market clients.
 

  • Participation

    • Members may be selected to contribute their expertise as part of the audit team.

    • Each audit includes multiple members, ensuring a comprehensive evaluation across marketing disciplines, but it is not a guarantee that your service will be included. Clients select which services are included in audits.
       

  • Compensation

    • Each participating member will charge the client $1,000 fee per audit, paid by the client to SowGrow PR. 

    • SowGrow PR will retain a 10% management fee from each member’s compensation for coordinating and managing the audit process.

    • Net payment to each participating Member will therefore be $900 per audit.

    • Fees may be adjusted at any time by Council Leadership. Membership will receive written notification of any changes.
       

  • Standards & Delivery

    • Members agree to provide professional, timely, and high-quality contributions to the audit.

    • Deliverables must align with the standards set by SowGrow PR to ensure consistency and client satisfaction.
       

  • Client Relationship

    • SowGrow PR will serve as the primary point of contact with clients.

    • Members must respect this structure and avoid direct solicitation of audit clients outside the agreed-upon process.
       

11. Confidentiality & Data Protection
Members shall keep confidential all client information, trade secrets, pricing data, lead sources, and proprietary Group materials, and shall use such information solely for the purpose of performing obligations under this Agreement. These obligations shall survive termination of this Agreement for two (2) years.

 

12. Intellectual Property
Members retain ownership of their pre-existing intellectual property. Members grant the Council Leadership a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use Member’s name, logo, and work samples for the purpose of promoting the Group and presenting client proposals.

 

13. Liability & Indemnification

  • Members shall be solely responsible for their own services and agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Council Leadership from any claims or liabilities arising out of Member’s acts, omissions, or breach of this Agreement.

  • Council Leadership shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from Member’s performance.
     

14. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia. 

 

15. Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the Parties with respect to its subject matter and supersedes all prior understandings or agreements, whether written or oral.
